Physical Description: Tessa is blessed with a creamy complexion, her skin is flawless and it emphasises her dark hair and eyes. Her hair is a mass of light and dark chocolate strands that fall straight to just below her shoulders. It begins dark at the roots and grows lighter as it nears the end. She rarely wears her hair tied up, prefering to leave it down with only the sides pulled back when she's studying. The only exception to this rule is when she is swimming or competing in athletics, and then she wears it in a tight braid. Her eyes are just as dark as her hair, with a slender eyebrow sweeping over each one.

Overall Tessa has a rather naive look and looks like a sheltered quiet girl due to her lack of cosmetics. She does not feel the need for them, nor does she feel the need to dress up all the time. Casual clothes, jeans and a top, do her fine and she'll only wear something special for a special occasion. Some would call her a tom boy, but her body is most definetly female and it makes you wonder what she could look like if she put some effort in.

Personality: Tessa is a warm-hearted friendly girl, who is able to find a healthy balance between having fun and being serious. She is a quiet girl, as her appearance denotes, but she is far from naive and sheltered. She enjoys living life to the fullest, while remaining true to herself. In the past she has had some issues with self-esteem and peer pressure, and it has left her with a slightly hard edge. Gaining her trust can be hard, and she can be quite shy at times. Once someone has gotten inside her barriers they will have her full trust and a loyal friend. This method of protecting herself is far from fool proof, and letting someone inside her walls so completely means that Tessa can be hurt easily.

A lot of Tessa's time is taking up with her hobbies and school work. At her old school she was on the swimming team, and with no team at Ashenfield High she joined the Athletics team instead. She still keeps up with her swimming, and her mother takes her to the nearest sports center every week. A dedicated sports women, Tessa enjoys being able to do something active and hates not having anything to do. While she doesn't have a huge competitive streak, she does enjoy competing. At school her favorite subjects are drama, english and history. She is an avid reader, especially when it comes to mythology and history.

Powers/Abilities: Tessa has the ability to astral project herself and she is also empathetic. Tessa's astral projection is still very much a work in process and takes a lot of concentration. At the moment she can astral project herself somewhere else in the house or just outside the walls of the house. Even that can leave her a little drained, and requires her to be in a state of meditation. Her empathy has always come easier to her, and if she is not shielding herself she will pick up vague flashes of emotion. Skin to skin touching is needed if she wants to know anything for sure, otherwise all she gets is flashes of muddled emotions.

She is also a skilled potion maker, making a variety of crystal elixirs. Protection circles and spells are a talent that she is still working on.

History/Biography: Tessa was the only child of a happy witch couple who had met at college. Like all couples her parents used to argue occasionally, but nethertheless she had a happy childhood. As an only child she was often spoilt, especially by her father and as she grew into her powers the bond between her and her father grew stronger. Tessa did not get on well with her mother at all, and as she struggled to handle her magical abilities their relationship got strained even further. It was her father and her father's mother that helped her through her difficult days and helped her grow into the young woman she is now. She never had much to do with her mother's family since they lived so far away, and so her earliest memories of magic are with her father's family.

Her parents hid the growing marital problems from their daughter very well. They started when she was about 16 and at some point her father began an affair with another woman. No one knew, and it came as a great suprise when her father suddenly announced he was moving away to be with someone else. It broke Tessa's heart, and with her grandmother dead it left her alone to deal with her senior year and her magic. Her mother handled it better than her daughter, and it suprised her when Tessa asked to stay with her. Mother and daughter moved away, heading to Las Vegas. Thankfully Tessa's good grades and sports achievments helped her get into Ashenfield High. She has missed the beginning of the semester but has shown quick progress.

Any Other Information: Since Tessa has only been in Las Vegas for just under a month and is trying to avoid magic she has yet to join a Coven. Her personal crystal is celestite and she wears it as a pendant or a bracelet made of pieces of celestite. It promotes serenity, creativity and harmony, soothes nerves, and helps her to connect with her spirit.
