History - Born to a vampire and a human, Talia's life was never to be one of freedom. The Night World did not tolerate halfbreeds, or those that broke the laws and so her parents were put to death. Talia herself was also supposed to die then, but someone saved the young child realising that perhaps she would become of some importance.

She spent years locked away from the world, growing and learning in a castle on one of the country estates in England. The estate belonged to her uncle. Killian O'Riley had decided to keep his niece alive, seeing her as a potential pawn. Another way for him to expand his power. Talia had grown up as a vampire and it was when she was brought before her uncle that she learnt otherwise.

Having been at ThornWood Palace for a few years now, Talia is more than used to being used as Killian's personal political pawn.

Appearance - With locks the colour of coal, that is a substance that never marrs this Lady's skin. Her hands are soft, as is the rest of her skin, and it is obvious that Talia has never had a hard day's work in her life. A slection of freckles livens up her creamy skin briefly over her cheeks and her nose, but that is the only place they can be found. Dark lashes and dark eyebrows frame eyes the colour of the darkest of sapphires, which have been warn on the occasion to inhance her natural beauty. Her lips need no rouge painted on them, for they are already the shade of summer berries and roses found in the gardens of Thornwood palace.

Personality - Talia has found out various times that it is easier to sumbit to someone, her uncle in particular, than to fight. Due to this her spirit has dulled somewhat, but she still remains quite fiesty. It is this attitude that gets her into so much trouble with her uncle.

She is also quite stubborn, a characteristic that the Redferns are known for. Due to her upbringing she is fairly intelligent, having been educated unlike many of the young ladies at the Palace. This intelligence aids her during her time under Killian's wing but at times it causes her to speak her mind.

Talents - As a vampire-human halfbreed, Talia has the ability to act as a human or a vampire. She has spent little time as a human and thus she only knows her vampire talents at present. The human blood contaminates her powers, meaning that her telepathic abilities are not as sharp as a vampires.

Apart from her supernatural skills, Talia has been educated in many of the arts that a young woman should have. A skilled rider, Talia also knows how to read, a task that most young ladies cannot do. Her other talents include cooking and sewing, especially embroidery.
