Talents: Quartz is a talented teacher and good at her role as Ceangel for her House. Using her House's powers involving sound, not many of her students are able to get away with talking in her classes. Many of her skills involve music and she has a beautiful singing voice. At times Quartz may seem too nice, too motherly but she is quite capable of using some of the more powerful spells of her House to defend herself and others.

Apperance/Personality: A beautiful woman, Quartz's fuchsia eyes always have a caring, motherly look in them even if it is directed at someone older than her. Her Royal Blue hair is a contrast to her eyes and falls about her hair in natural waves. When teaching she often wears it pulled up in a bun, and most of the time she tends to wear flowing clothing. It is very unlikely that you will find this woman wearing anything tight-fitting or too revealing. She prefers to keep her body hidden, a mystery, but this does not mean she dresses like a nun. She prefers the freedom of flowing cloth but is not afraid to show some skin, she just shows to reveal it in a less sexual way.

Her personality is a lot like her wish to keep her body a mystery. While she is extremely close to her children, relatives and her children's fathers, very few people tend to know her that well. Her students have tried for years to trick her into revealing more about herself and she is always one step ahead of them. People refer to her as a friendly, calm authority figure who is pacifist. That is just part of who she is and only the closest of friends know the strength she keeps buried deep down or the heartache she has felt over losing a loved one. She often finds peace in music, stargazing and her teaching. Without her teaching she would still be grieving over the children she lost.

Other Important Information: Quartz is the Ceangel of House Gealach and while she does not sport a celtic first name, she is no less a Gealach.

History: Born over 1,000 human years ago, arranged unions were common place throughout the world and AMA was no exception. For Glish though, it was only a union and not a marriage that lasted for their entire life. Glish lived too long to be tied down to someone for eternity. Quartz was no exception to this idea of arranged unions and her parents arranged for to be with a young Glish male when she was 160 passes. Up to that point Quartz had always been a quiet, mysterious young woman who was willing to do her duty to her family and to the Glish. And so the union took place without too much hassle for and for about 30 human years Quartz remained with the man, producing several children within him before parting ways.

During her first Union, Quartz had chosen the House Gealach and as time went on she devoted her time to her House. She had always had a knack with children and loved to teach them knew things. This eventually lead to her becoming a teacher in AMA and then the Ceangel of her House. She spent time in the human world and AMA, learning all she could about her favourite subjects of Theology, Mythology and Magic which she passed on to her students. Quartz also began to orchestrate her own unions with young Glish men, producing heirs for them. She has a good relationship with each one; she would never mate with anyone incompatible for her children's sake. Parents that argued was not a stable environment for any child.

During the Third War Quartz lost several children, and a few grandchildren which she took quite badly for a while. There are still a few unaccounted for, but she has thrown herself into her work and has been doing her best to find the members of her House. As well as seeking out any new members who need to be trained.
