History - Born to Marla and Jarrod Russell, Nalani had a peaceful childhood and had the usual love-hate relationship with her family as she grew up. But Nalani never forgot that her famil was different, and that she as well as them was a shapeshifter. The need for blood and for an escape for her beast over took her every so often, and Nalani hated it. She knew that there was no escape from her violent inner beast and so in the last few years she has begun to accept her species, as well as herself.

Nalani was always a very withdrawn, unsocial creature because she did not trust herself around the humans she met at school. Nor was she able to tell them the truth about what she was. Afraid that she would find herself harming someone or being found out, she kept away from humans and found very few other species that shared her own calm nature. However her beauty led to many young men confronting her, trying to get her attention and all failed to do so.

After leaving college, her parents decided to put their beautiful, yet somewhat disappointing, young daughter to some use. There was a powerful new Fae in town who was making his mark by controlling the wolves in town, None of them could escape Aidan and the Russell's decided to try and make a bargain with him as soon as possible.

Taking Nalani to a meeting with Aidan, the Fae was of course not too impressed by the wolves, but he humored them and agreed to meet. After careful negotiations, an agreement was made. Nalani was to be Aidans, for as long as he chose and for whatever he wished. Her parents would not interfere, no matter what and in exchange a spell was performed that stopped Aidan from controlling Marla, Jarrod and their son Riley. The spell was done by Aidan himself, meaning that he was the only one who had the ability to undo the spell.

In the past two years, Nalani's parents have stuck by their word and Aidan has been unable to control them. But Nalani herself was not as lucky and she still remains Aidan's pet, messanger, and employee.

Appearance - Her golden looks curl around her shoulders in lose waves, dropping to just below her shoulders. Her creamy skin is unmarked, and without flaws throughout her body. Nalani's appearance echoes that of her name - calm heaven - and she has an almost pure, angelic look about her. However, his is far from the truth and her natural curves are a deep contrast to her first appearance. Her beauty and grace mixed with full, red lips and doe-eyes of the shade of slate blue, makes her a perfect attraction for Aidan's clubs.

Personality - A quiet young woman, Nalani used to be somewhat naive but her time with Aidan has corrupted her views of the world. While she can be bitter at times, and no longer the happy girl she used to be, Nalani still retains her quiet nature. Instead of returning Aidan's whims with anger, she is calm and takes it all in her stride, recognising that that is her place in life.

She is still quiet anti-social and prefers to shy away from people if she can, hiding behind her jobs at Aidan's clubs and behind his domination of her. Nalani is quite happy to remain an unimportant part of the background rather than the center of attention and she hates to have people's attention on her. Despite this, she is comfortable in entertaining, usually by dancing because she is able to focus purely on her task and is thus able to ignore those watching her.

Nalani is also bisexual, something that Aidan and other men like to exploit. This usually makes her feel even more uncomfortable, although she willingly does as she is told. For these reasons Nalani is rather why about her sexual feelings towards anyone and keeps them quiet. Her silence in these matters is also due to the fact that she does not wish to anger Aidan.

Talents - Nalani is an intelligent girl that left school with a lot of A-B GCSE grades and with A's and B's for her A-Levels. She is talented in various areas, including mathematics, dance, and business studies which all help her in her role as Aidan's pet. She is eager to please as well, always running around to do what is needed of her and more. Often she is one step ahead of her "boss", thus pleasing him further. This is all mainly due to her observations that caused her to realise that if she was of no use to Aiden, he would soon rid himself of her. By planning ahead she is making sure that even if he turfs her from his bed, she will still be of use to him in his businesses.

As a werewolf Nalani is rather weak, although in wolf form she is faster and stronger than a human. She is suprisingly fast and sleek, a contrast to her weak human form.
