History - Born to a male Harman, Kali was never to be known within the Night World as a true Harman. This was due to the female members of witch families carrying on the family name instead of the male members. It was this problem that led to her parents divorce. Also their difference in opinions when it came to which Circle Kali would be taught under. While her father was a member of Circle Midnight, her mother was much calmer and a part of Circle Twilight.

Frustrated when her Harman cousins were chosen over her, Kali's power grew uncontrollable whenever she didn't get her own way. She had inherited her father's famous temper and his nature of destruction. While her mother would try to heal a human, Kali wanted to destroy them. They were weak and short lived. Unlike the Night World, the human world could offer her nothing.

Kali made her choice, much to her mother's upset she chose Circle Midnight. But her father had planned for her to stay with him and learn from him. Kali of course had no intent to do as such. Finding a powerful Midnight witch, Kali escaped from her father's grasp, fleeing to Greece for a time. Training with the witch, Kali's powers grew as the new powers were awoken. Many witches had the new ability of throwing witch power. But Kali's powers did not stop growing there. Her mind was enhanced, giving her the ability to create illusions within human or broken minds.

It was this newly found gift that was perhaps what brought her to the attention of Aurek Balder. They also shared a common interest. Seduction. Aurek's reputation of bedding any female, no matter what their species, was well known by Kali. So was her reputation for sleeping around, he informed her upon meeting. The true nature of the meeting was not kept a secret, he wanted her to work for him. But Kali was not happy with just that. Why should she work for him when it was him that needed her? She had no need for him apart from the access to a new species within the Night World. The Tempests. But she was not going to give up her freedom only for information.

So a deal was made. If Aurek could seduce her, she would work for him. If she seduced him, she would get her information and to be equal to him. But if she managed resist him, yet fail to seduce him, she would get to be his second in command within his group of hunters. The time set was a month.

The month went slowly, both using all knowledge they held including witchcraft, to seduce the other. But by the end of the month, both failing to seduce the other. Despite this, they both got what they wanted. Aurek wanted Kali to join him and his groups of Hunters, Kisses of Lethe. As she had managed to resist him, she joined not as just another member but as his second in command. Despite preferring to be his equal, Kali settled for that position.

As time went on, Kali annoyed Aurek by sleeping around with other hunters, knowing that he still wanted her. But she also wanted him, so Aurek did the same. The hunters and huntresses were becoming annoyed with being placed in between the two constantly. So one night when they both planned to spend the night with a member, the hunter and huntress both asked for the room to be pitch black. Unknown to Kali and Aurek, the room they were both staying in that night was to be the same. Expecting to find their partner next to them in the morning when they woke up, they were shocked to find each other.

Giving in to their childish games, they became a well-known item. But that did not mean they were monogamous. Kali could not resist the temptation of another man, neither could Aurek resist a woman.

Appearance - Her Smokey silver eyes follow your every move and seem to withhold the ability to influence you enough to produce fear. Hair as black as midnight falls almost past her hips, falling like a river of darkness. Elegant coal black eyebrows appear to have been painted by an artist with the most delicate of strokes. Her full dark scarlet lips purse together, pouting when she does not get what she wants. But Kali turns the gesture into a seductive asset instead of a look of a sulking child. Her slim, shapely body moves with an almost slinky grace. Moving with the knowledge that she is the center of attention, every aspect of her behavior is filled with bewitchment and seduction. No matter what she chooses to wear, the intent to reveal her perfect form is always present. Black dresses, leather pants and cat suits make up a main part of her wardrobe. She only ever changes from her usual black when it is for a special reason.

Personality - Second in Command as well as Aurek's bed partner, Kali uses this to her full advantage. Her beauty and enchantment help to insure that she gets what she wants when she wants it. Despite her seductive nature and the name black widow, Kali can play the role of a nice quiet girl if she wishes to. Catty and bitchy, many female competitors for male affections or any that get too close to Aurek, usually find out the amount of pain Kali can truly create.

Her temper, despite being well known by the Hunters, can occasionally reach new heights, scaring prisoners or hunters unfamiliar with her. This of course comes in useful when it comes to stubborn prisoners. Torture is a favorite activity after seduction for Kali. One thing is certain about Kali; she is powerful and she knows it. At a first glance she appears spoilt, but her arrogance is not without reason. It is the knowledge that she is better than the majority of hunters which results in their dislike of her.

Talents - Being a witch, Kali's most powerful talents come naturally to her. The newly found abilities of throwing witch power and influencing weak and broken minds, are what attracted Aurek originally. Her skills of witchcraft benefit her seductive activities, causing her to be irresistible to very few men. For humans this can mean insanity and death, as she destroys every entity that makes them what they are. For any weak Night Worlders, it means the loss of their power as she uses them for her own uses. The only group who should do their best to stay clear of her are the members of Kisses of Lethe. For it has become known for her to become too involved with a hunter, this causing Aurek's jealousy to become uncontrollable.

But Kali is not just a weak temptress. If any man steps out of bounds, she certainly will not lie back and let them do what they wish. Skilled in many martial arts, Kali is a trained assassin, leaving a black thistle and symbol of a black widow as her calling card.

Kali's talents as a witch also include witch fire, one of old powers that has awakened in her. Despite this she is at a disadvantage due to how she uses her powers. Instead of using them for "good", she prefers destruction and this has caused a mental block that means she finds it difficult to heal. Crystals and divination are something that Kali enjoys using privately, although the former can be of use to her in defensive spells.
