Description: Helena was the second child born to Lester and Eliza Conroi. Her parents were prominent members of the Court of Veritaius, residing in Brakt when they were not at Court. As the only daughter among three boys, Helena's childhood was a mixture of learning to be a Lady and playing with her brothers. With her elder brother set to inherit, Helena was groomed for marriage as she grew older. At first it was a fate that seemed worse than death, until she began to recognise the power a beautiful woman could hold at Court.

With two politically ambitious parents, the way to play the games of Court were passed on to all of the Conroi children. As children they watched their parents from afar, only beginning to understand their actions as they reached maturity. It was their eldest child that married first, sealing a trade alliance in the process. When it came to their daughter, however, Lester and Eliza were a lot more careful.

It was two years after her initial debute at the Court of Veritaius that Helena's parents began to decide which proposition to accept. The decision was never made, her parents and brothers were found murdered at their estate in Brakt that winter. Several witnesses claimed to have seen Helena buying poison a few days prior, and she was arrested for the murders. The trial was conducted quickly by an Official in Brakt, and the sentance given was enslavement. No one listened to her cries of innocence, and she was promptly marked as a slave by a Mage.

It was only after she had been sentanced and marked that Helena learnt the truth. She had been framed for the murders by Lord Dariune, the Master of Brakt. While playing their political games her parents had opposed Kelvar openly throughout the years, and this was his revenge. It was her beauty and his perverse sense of revenge that had kept her alive, and he has kept her as his personal slave.

Helena's elder brother survived the murders, simply because he was married. The death of him and his wife would have raised too many questions, and instead he was lead to believe that his sister had killed her family because they wanted to marry her off. The evidence against her was complex and well thought out, and so her brother did not defend his sister due to self-preservation more than anything else.

Before the murder of her family, Helena was an intelligent and warm young woman that seemed harmless. Although she was never as scheming as her parents, she knew how to play politics and how to charm. Most of these traits have been beaten out of her in the short time she has been with Lord Kelvar. Anger and bitterness have replaced her warmth, and only her independance has not been defeated yet. Helena's resistence is fading, and she has done some humilating things since becoming Kelvar's slave. Despite the humilation and pain, Helena is determined not to give him an easy win after what he has done to her.

Physical Appearance: Even dressed in the revealing silks of a slave, Helena still looks like nobility. She has an elegant profile with creamy, flawless skin. Her unadorned hair falls loose to the middle of her back, and is the colour of rich copper. Delicate golden lashes frame pale grey-blue eyes that used to hold joy. Helena's time at Court taught her the art of fake expressions, and her time in Kelvar's hands has stripped that talent from her. She was once able to school her face to show no emotion, and now her expression can be read like an open book.

Her slender form is rarely fully covered, and she is either nude or wearing silks that leave nothing to the imagination. Fairly tall, Helena can seem almost too willowy at first glance. A second glance shows the curve of her hips, and a well-proportioned upper body. Helena has no piercings yet, and her body is healed by a healer before any scarring can occur. Since becoming Kelvar's slave she has been forced to wear a slave collar around her neck. It fits tightly around her throat, a constant reminder of her new life without hindering her breathing. It is held in place by a small lock and fitted with a loop at the front for attatchments. It is inscribed with her caste and the words 'I belong to Lord Kelvar'.

Her slave mark is visible to all. It runs down her lower back, sliding over her buttocks and ending at the tops of her thighs. The image is of a black rampant stag, it's hindlegs planted on her right thigh and it's lifted antlers drawing the eyes up her back. One of it's forelegs spreads around her left hip, the other across the base of her spine just above her left buttock. It is a slightly different version of her Master's family crest, instantly naming her as his slave.

Talents: Raised as a Noble woman, Helena was taught how to behave like a Lady until it was honed to perfection. How to walk, how to talk, and how to charm were lessons she learnt from her early teens. By the time she reached the age of 18 and made her Court debut, Helena had learnt how to manipulate and use her femininity to her advantage. She was not just a silly noble woman though, Helena was intelligent and observant. Accompanying her manners was a long list of interests suitable for a Lady. She is a fair hand at needle-work and painting, as well as a beautiful singing voice to accompany someone playing the piano.

Her observations and charm combined with knowing her power as suitable candidate for marriage meant that Helena grew fairly arrogant, a trait not uncommon to members of her caste. She knew the worth of herself and the power she could hold over men. It has been this arrogance that has cost her dearly in the hands of Kelvar. Helena was somewhat spoilt as she grew up,treated as something precious, and this has left her vunerable to Kelvar's humilation. Her arrogance has developed into stubborness and she refuses to just give in to Kelvar. He has taken everything from her and the only thing she has left is her will. In being so stubborn she is tearing herself a part, killing parts of her self everytime she resists him. She has degraded herself and taken all forms of punishment by doing so, and seems to be oblivious to what she is doing to herself in the process.
