History - Born on Ord Mantell amongst the smugglers and aliens, Cayla never knew her true parents as she was separated from them at birth. Unknown to the baby Cayla this was due to the fact that one of her parents was a Jedi Knight. An enemy of her father?s had paid a group of smugglers to attack the family. Their young daughter being taken from them, her parents managed to defend themselves when the order to kill them was given but never saw their baby daughter again.

The Hutt who had arranged the carefully planned attack, Diniga, was well known for his love of female slaves. Deciding that the most humiliating thing to do to the Jedi Knight would be to keep the child from him and turn her into a slave once she reached age, as it is an honor for a Jedi to watch their children grow up to be Jedi.

Hiding the girl on Nar Shaddaa with family, the girl grew up as a normal child without knowing anything about what her future held. Despite being treated like a lower class by the members of the palace where she was staying, Cayla never realised that anything was amiss.

It was on her 16th birthday that the truth of what Diniga intended to do with her became clear to her. Taken back to her home planet, she reacted violently and with disgust at the thought of being owned by the Hutt. Following his harsh punishments, she eventually settled down and gave up all hopes of being saved from her fate. But while a slave of the Hutt she was not used for pleasure. Instead he kept her merely as a trophy, sometimes letting someone he favored use her for their own purposes but with the condition that she was not to be touched. Having learnt to dance on Nar Shaddaa, there were times when she was used to entertain guests and when Diniga wished to show his power.

Moving with the Hutt to Tatooine, she was aware of something Dark taking place but she had no idea that it was someone using the Dark side of the force. Listening to the girls explanation of something taking place, Diniga realised that it was something she must have felt through the force. Deciding to make himself a profit, unknown to Cayla he told anyone who came to his palace that he was willing to sell the daughter of a Jedi. Hoping that he would interest either a Sith or Jedi, the Hutt does not care who claims her first as long as they are willing to pay a hefty fee for her.

Appearance - Eyes of jade green, her pale skin makes her seem like a spirit born from the earth. But a glimpse of her firey mane tells a completely different story. Her think auburn hair falls to the middle of her back, covering the mark of the Hutt's brand that will remain forever in her skin as a reminder of what she truely is - a slave. Only 5'5, as her hair catches the light strands of gold, and mahogony, as well as the darker strands of wine red are shown. Slim and graceful in her movements, Cayla's pale eyes sometimes hold a spark of anger.

Attire - Dressed in the skimpy clothing of a slave girl by the Hutt that she belongs, Cayla has no choice in what she wears. Usually wearing a halter-top made of a somewhat see-through material and an ankle length skirt with slits to her hips on both sides, she is made to go bare footed. Tall and slim, her expression is usually one of pain and submission mixed with anger at her situation. Bound to her master's dais by a chain attached to her ankle, a slaving collar is fitted around her neck and is sometimes used instead of the manacle around her ankle.

Personality - Cayla has a fiery temper that she refused to show when she was a slave to Diniga the Hutt, it covers up the fear she holds for her future and the pain she suffered at the hands of her master. Still young and easily lead, Cayla regrets never knowing her parents especially now that she knows she is the daughter of a jedi or Sith.While part of her wonders if she will ever meet her parents in the future, another part of her soul burns with eternal anger. Not knowing how she was seperated from them, she feels abandoned by them. Becoming Taryn's apprentice, she has vowed to do all she can to reach her full potential. But his interest in only her power annoys her, as deep down inside she needs someone to care for her for the first time in her life now that she is free. Turning her back on the Jedi, she feels that they forgot about her instead of trying to free her as Taryn did. If she is the daughter of a Sith then she feels that training to be a Sith is correct. No matter how hard she tries to supress her feelings, she is scared that her freedom will be shortlived and that someone will realise that she is an escaped slave.

Talents - Taken from her parents, Cayla never recieved the education she would have been given if not for the turn in events. Instead of learning about the universe, and being trained as a Jedi, as she grew up she was taught how to become used to being treated as lower. Knowing nothing different, this was how life was supposed to be or so Cayla thought. It was only when she met Diniga that she realise that all her life she had been trained to become his slave.

Skilled at being a slave, this is all Cayla has ever known. She knows when to speak, when to keep quiet and she learnt the invalueable lesson of always doing as ordered, no matter what.Althought a slave, she was never trained as a pleasure slave but instead entertained her master's guests as a dancer or she was forced to spend time with one of them. This usually involved her listening to smugglers, bounty hunters and other lowlifes drone on about their life acomplishments. A result of this, Cayla become a good listening, picky up small details that many people missed the first time round. She also learnt a lot about the lowlifes, being able to pick one out of a crowd quickly.Using her looks to her advantage, Cayla knows how to get what she wants from people and that is what kept her from her Master's wrath several times.
