History - Originally from Italy, Bryony Moretti was born to wealthy parents that traveled quite a lot. Due it her parents? wealth she was often spoilt as a child but while her mother continued to flaunt their wealth, her father remained level headed. Spending time with her father as she grew older, Bryony learnt many skills that were only open to the upper class. She also grew to understand his views of the world, following his calm, caring lead on how to act in a world that was constantly growing more violent.

At the age of 17 to a tragic car crash. Her father had grown up in Ohio, USA and a few months after her mother's death Bryony followed him back to his home town of Columbus. There she continued her school career and went on to major in art. Her talents brought her to attention of one of the important art schools and life seemed to be going well for her. However it seemed that fate had other ideas.

While out walking with her father one night, an event that happened on a regular basis, Bryony found herself being attacked by what seemed to be wild dogs. Following her father's instructions to run, she was bitten by one of the dogs during her escape. Shortly after she fell unconscious due to loss of blood.She was surprised when she awoke to not only be alive but to find herself with a group of strangers. The story they spun her surprised her even more. The wild dogs she had seen were not what she had thought, instead they were actually rogue werewolves. They informed her that when she had been bitten she had been infected with lycanthropy. Of course she did not believe them but a week later during the full moon Bryony was unable to deny the truth of what she had become. Her father had died during the attack, leaving her alone at the age of 20.

It was then that she was told about Crimson Dancing and the pack laws. Since she was a new wolf she was lower than most of the wolves and as the years continued she soon became tired of the constant struggles for power. She began to rise within the pack, challenging others and winning. It soon became obvious that Bryony was an Alpha wolf, gaining powers that other wolves did not have.

At the age of 23 she caught the attention of the new pack leader. Her calm personality was different to the other prospect mates that he had and this was one of the reasons why he chose her as his mate. Remaining monogamous, she knew her place as his mate but he also gave her freedom that other wolves were not given. However despite being a good pack leader someone decided to challenge him. The challenger was a younger wolf, having joined Crimson Dancing not long before. The challenge of course ended in death; the death of Bryony's mate.

The new pack leader has the choice to a new mate but while Bryony survived it is likely that he may choose her to be his mate, for she remains the strongest Alpha female in the pack. It is only Bryony's loyalty to the pack that will keep her from trying to avoid the new pack leader because she knows that she is the only one strong enough to protect some of the lower wolves from the other female Alphas.

Appearance - Tall and slim, Bryony has a mane of flowing black hair that seems to have been made of the stone onyx. Standing at only 5'5, her body is slim, maybe too much so and long. Sometimes seeming delicate, her emerald eyes can seem to blaze with anger which contradicts her calm nature.A small, round, feminine face, her high cheekbones and determined mouth show just how hard her will to survive is. Usually wearing a pair of pants and a top, Bryony is not at all feminine when it comes to clothing.

She feels more at home in clothes she can move in, but she is also aware that sometimes she will be needed to wear something a little more revealing.

In shifted form her fur is the colour of onyx, just as her hair is in human form. She is a slim wolf and quite small but where she lacks in size she is able to gain in agility.As a wolf her eyes are a pale form of the striking emerald gaze she has when she is human.

Personality - Unlike many of the other Alpha female characters Bryony is calm and has quite a relaxed personality. Although her position causes her to become sometimes less sensitive than she truly is, she does care a great deal about the younger members of the pack. She does her best to help those that require help but she cannot compete with her mate. She will act above the other Alpha females and some of the Alpha males, but she knows her place below her mate. But she does her best to try and persuade the pack leader against some ideas, usually being unsuccessful.

Loyalty is one of her traits and no matter who is pack leader Bryony will remain loyal to them and the rest of the pack. In a strange way she is dignified and she can be very wary of who she trusts, well aware of some of the intentions members of the pack and other members of Crimson Dancing have. People regard her as innocent, but Bryony could never be stronger than those that talk about her, which is why most of the Alpha females know to leave her be.

Talents - A shapeshifter, her most obvious ability is to be able to shapeshift into a wolf. As an Alpha female Bryony has skills that most wolves do not have. She is able to feed power to wolves below her by simply sharing blood while she is a strong fighter that can easily maintain her role as the pack leader?s mate. She also has a sense of fair play that can cause her to be seen as naive but she is far from innocent. Spying is just another of her talents, that is made easier by her jet-black fur in wolf form. A fighter, human and as wolf Bryony is known for not giving up even if it means fighting to the death. One of the strongest fighters of the pack, she grew up learning quite a few old styles of fighting such as archery and fencing. However in a modern world she does not often get a chance to use these skills. Art is a skill however that she does get to use often. She can be found painting for hours at a time just because she saw something that inspired her.
