Looking for RPGs

Hello!

I'm looking to join some new yahoo group RPGs. Although I've had a nosey around I've not found anything that appeals to me yet, so I'm posting this to a few groups in a hope that some people will reply with some suggestions.

Just to give you a little bit of info about me; I've been roleplaying online for 9 years, mainly in yahoo groups, but also a little in chat rooms and message boards. I have played a variety of characters, which I keep archived on my website. If any of these characters appeals to you and you would like to see them reincarnated in your RPG please let me know :)

What I am looking for

Requirements:

- Intermediate - Advanced level of writing
- Active but not too active - I have time to post 1-2 times a week, I don't have time to keep up with an RPG that throws out 20+ posts a day.
- Active Mods.
- Games that accept original characters.
- If based on a fandom the RPG must be based in the fandom universe, but without any canon characters being played.

Preferences:

- I do prefer having the option to play storylines and characters of an adult nature if I wish to.
- I prefer RPGs that have a website alongside the yahoo group, and/or character profiles written for each character.

Genres I'm interested in roleplaying:

- Fantasy
- Medieval
- Historical - Renaissance, Ancient Rome, Ancient Greece
- Supernatural/Horror (vampires, witches, were creatures etc.) - This is my favorite genre to RP.

Fandoms I'm interested in:

- Star Wars - During the Empire, or post-Return of the Jedi (EU novels)
- Buffy the Vampire Slayer - Post Season 7 only.
- Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter (Laurell K Hamilton)
- Merry Gentry series (Laurell K Hamilton)
- Tortall series (Tamora Pierce)
- Night World (L.J.Smith)
- Warcraft/World of Warcraft
