Hunter Redfern

This is the approved Fanlisting for Hunter Redfern, a character from the Night World series by L.J.Smith.

One of the most powerful lamia vampires of the Night World and a member of the Night World council, Hunter is not seen that often in the books. But who he is and what he symbolises is easy to see.

It was Hunter Redfern that stopped the fued between the vampires and the witches by mixing his blood with a witch; Maeve Harman. From their union he had four daughters; Garnet, Lily and Dove and Roseclear, who grew up as a witch and a Harman. Hunter later changed John Quinn into a vampire after Dove's death and it was Hunter who was responsible for setting up the various enclaves throughout the world that keeps the Night World safe.

All in all Hunter Redfern is one of the most powerful members of the Night World council, and a character that emphasises the cruelty and power that the Night World holds.
