Lecture Theatres and Class rooms
There are several different buildings that hold class rooms and three main buildings that have lecture theatres. Each lecture theatre has a dvd player, cd player, slide projector, computer, a large screen and lighting controls.
The Rebecca Walken Building:
Named after a long dead professor, this building is the smallest and oldest building that has lecture theatres and classrooms. It has a basement, ground floor and first floor. Each floor has a lecture theatre and three classrooms. The largest lecture theatre is on the ground floor. The building is in a Edwardian Baroque style, and has three steps leading up to the doorway. Stairs and lifts (elevators) lead to each floor, and the floors are made of old grey stone. The seats inside each lecture theatre are wood, like pews in a Church, and cushions are sprawn around the theatre for comfort.
Rokar Hall:
This is the newest and largest building, and was built about 10 years ago. It holds 20 small lecture theatres that can be used for lectures or classes. It is very large and very tall, and has a modern design. It is made of multi-coloured glass and metal sheets. Lifts and stairs to each floor run up the middle of the building, with a lecture theatre on each side of the stairs. Each room is clean and sparse, with a green carpet and green plastic chairs.
The Sebastian Jefferson Building:
Made during the 1950s, it has a Neoclassical style. A large set of stairs lead up to large pillars and then to several doors that lead into the building. There are four floors, 2 large lecture theatres, 4 smaller theatres and several different classrooms on each floor. The large lecture theatres are on ground floor and first floor, with two smaller teatures in the basement and the second floor. The corridors have marble tiles for the floor, and the lecture theatres and classrooms have a dark blue carpet. The chairs in all classrooms and lecture theatres are comfortable blue-covered seats.
Subject Department Buildings
There is a building for each subject department. There are so many different subjects so I won't be listing each building. Just be aware that each department has it's own office and some may have a smaller lecture theatre and class rooms. Classes can be held any where in the campus, as well as in their own department rooms/building.

This card means that their food has already been paid for. Students not living in catered housing provided by the University will need to pay for each meal. The Cafeteria is the old sports hall and is a large building that has terrible acoustics. It is filled with large tables and plastic seats. The food served caters for everyone and all allergies and lifestyle choices.

They have a wide range of herbal and fruit teas. Food and drinks are usually taken away because there is only a small seating area.
Computer clusters & Libraries
There are give different clusters scattered around the campus, and then one cluster in each Library. A cluster is a large room filled with computers for students to use. Each cluster has a high-tech computer for scanning, camera work, videos or music. All the computers are modern and good quality with the basic programs and connection to the printers in the room.
There are Libraries with different subjects listed in each one. In the north of the campus there is the Stuart Abington library which has books for the sciences, maths, computer studies, medicine, psychology, sociology, geography and other related subjects. The other library, the Emmeline Calvar library, is in the south of the campus, and has books for art, media studies, photography, dance, drama, music, theology, history, and other related subjects.
Each library is a large building with several different floors, and students must use their student card to enter both libraries. The same card is used when student borrow or return books. Books can be taken out of the library by students in two ways. They can use one of the machines or go to the 'Borrowing Books' desk, and a staff member will do it for them. Books can be returned the same way, and they can also be put in a 'return box' found outside both libraries. A student does not need to enter a library to put books in this box.
Sports
In the north west of the campus is the sports halls. There is one large sports hall and five other halls nestled around it. All sorts of sports clubs are available at the University.
