Updates
Here you will find a list of updates made to the website. The directories are updated regularly, usually every few days, so even if the date listed here is not recent the directory is still being updated.

The update forms should now be working so if you have submitted a form to update your site's information in the past few months please resubmit it. I have also updated the Character Search Engine to a new script with no spam, so please start adding your needed characters today!
I am still working on the RPG Reviews section so that should be done shortly. I have also removed the poll about paid advertising as the results showed that most people were against the idea and at the end of the day this site is about the rpers that visit it not paid advertising.

Thank you to everyone who has voted in the previous poll. I will be working over the next few weeks to add RPG reviews back to the site. I am also currently looking into finding a new script to use for the Character Search Engine as the current one is getting more spam than adverts. Also, the update forms for each directory seem to not be working so I am working on a fix for that as well.

I have reorganised the RPG Character Picture Gallery into three different sections and into age groups to make it easier to use. I am also in the process of adding new pictures including some to the areas that are lacking i.e. 40+ and teens. If you have any suggestions please leave them in the cbox.

Hello! I hope everyone in Canada and the USA enjoyed their respective holidays recently. I have some ideas for what I want to add next to DF, but I'd like to see what you guys would like to see - after all DF is here for you.
The ideas in detail:
Twitter Advertising: A specific DF account which you can tweet once a week with an ad for your RPG, and I'll retweet it to all of DF's followers.
RPG Reviews: This is technically an old idea returning. I review RPGs by looking at them as a potential member, and without being too critical I let you know what I find so you can improve your site for visitors.
Webring: There aren't many RPG webrings out there now, apart from those on webring.com and many of those are inactive, so it would be nice to have an active one again.
Button Exchange: Those of you who have been following DF for years will remember I used to run a button exchange. On my recent hunt for places to advertise it seems that these have died out so I thought it was time for a new one.
Button Maker: Pretty simple; you submit a form and I'll make you some link back buttons for your RPG using your layout and the images you provide.

Fixed a few technical problems with the Character Search, it is now working as it should so go and advertise your characters!

As you can see DF has had a much needed face lift again. The directories have been tidied out and moved over to a much nicer and easier to use script! I have also finally revamped the advertising guide and the advertising links list is now updated to include uptodate links. Also the Character Search is now also a part of this site rather than listed on a seperate forum.
Currently I have not added back the RPG review section as I wish to rework that a bit, and I will also be added some new buttons as well as some text adverts that can be used to link back to DF.
