Az as a Kitten

In March 2010 Chris and I moved from London to Glasgow, leaving Azreil behind in the safe hands of my parents. We had intended to bring him up with us, but he became so settled and happy at my parents' house that we chose to leave him there. The neighbours hand two young kittens as well, so he even had friends to play with.

So we decided to get a new kitten, and after much searching and waiting we recieved an email about a silver tabby kitten that was available. We went to view him at the end of May, and after falling completely in love we brought him home on the 9th June 2010.

Az as a Kitten

I grew up surrounded by cats, and after spending three years away from cats when I was at University, I was desperate to have a cat of our own. I was stuck waiting until we had returned from our holiday - until my mum said she was happy to look after a kitten while we were away. So the kitten hunt commenced and after ringing around a few places we found one we could do and see that night. So we headed over and looked at the two tabby kittens they had. One was very timid, the other was happy to be held and playful and that's the one we chose.

That was June 2008, and now in May 2009, Azreil, Az for short, is a fully grown cat. He has got beautiful markings, very friend and adorable. He is also extremely curious and nosey; any where he can stick his nose he will do! He climbs into the wardrobe, into cupboards, loves boxes and plastic bags, and has even had a nosey at the fridge. Mischief is certainly his middle name! He climbed the Christmas tree at Christmas, and knocked it over, and is quite happy to sit on top of the door.

As we live on a busy road Az is an indoor cat, although he loved peeking out of a window and having a sniff about.
